In an alfalfa pellet making machine, the ring die and rollers work in tandem to complete material extrusion and pellet formation. RICHI manufactures these components from 42CrMo steel, offering significantly higher wear resistance than conventional alloy or carbon steel.

Wear-resistant ring die

The ring die and rollers are precisely matched to ensure efficient compression, producing compact and uniform pellets. Tests show that the alfalfa pellets can achieve a molding rate of over 98%, with controllable density and hardness.

Gear transmission

The pellet machine uses a direct-drive system with precision-ground hard-toothed gears, providing high torque and about 15% higher productivity than belt transmission. Forced feeding with spiral distribution ensures uniform feeding, reduces jams and rework, and improves energy efficiency per unit.

Safety pin

Core components are made of 42CrMo steel, offering superior wear resistance compared to ordinary alloy or carbon steel. A safety pin prevents overloading, protecting the core parts, extending equipment life, and reducing unexpected maintenance costs.

Granulation Room

It can process fresh alfalfa, alfalfa hay, crop residues, and mix grains and additives for feed production. With customizable die holes, it produces both feed pellets and biomass fuel pellets, making it suitable for both farming and energy applications.

The condition and moisture content of raw materials can significantly impact both the processing steps and overall production efficiency.
